Join NTT DATA as a Senior System Architect specializing in Pega upgrades and modernization. This role involves leading complex Pega platform transformations, ensuring seamless transitions to the latest Infinity platform while maintaining application stability, performance, and security.

This position is based in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including Business Architects, Lead System Architects, DevOps, and Infrastructure teams, as well as key business stakeholders. The goal is to deliver scalable, future-ready Pega solutions that drive client success.

Lead comprehensive Pega platform upgrade initiatives, migrating from older versions to Pega Infinity. This includes performing detailed impact assessments and developing technical remediation plans. You'll analyze and replace deprecated features, refactor legacy applications to adhere to current best practices, and resolve guardrail violations and technical debt.

Key duties involve validating the compatibility of integrations, agents, queue processors, and security mechanisms. You will also design and develop enterprise-grade Pega solutions, configure core components like Case Types and Data Pages, and ensure adherence to Pega guardrails and architectural standards. Participating in architecture reviews and technical design discussions is also integral to this role.

Furthermore, you'll conduct performance analysis and tuning post-upgrade, identify and mitigate application bottlenecks, and support load testing. Ensuring platform scalability, reliability, and maintainability is crucial. You will support CI/CD pipeline automation, manage branching strategies, coordinate code migration, and work closely with DevOps and Infrastructure teams throughout the upgrade and deployment processes. Finally, supporting SIT, UAT, and production validation, analyzing defects, and participating in production implementation and hypercare are essential aspects of the position.

The ideal candidate possesses a CSSA Certification and extensive hands-on experience with Pega upgrade projects, specifically migrating applications from Pega 7.x/8.x to Pega Infinity. Proficiency in PEGA AI, CDH, Pega Case Management, and Data Pages is required.

Essential technical skills include expertise in various integration technologies such as REST, SOAP, Kafka, and JMS. A strong understanding of Security Frameworks, including SSO, OAuth, LDAP, and SAML, is also necessary. Experience in performance tuning, branching, application packaging, and deployment management is critical. Familiarity with SQL and Postgres databases is also a requirement for this role.
