Cookies. Everyone has them. Here's ours - kept short because frankly, most cookie policies are longer than they need to be.
A cookie is a tiny file that gets saved on your device when you visit a website. It helps the site remember things - like that you're logged in, or that you prefer a certain language. Without cookies, you'd have to re-enter everything every single visit.
Essential cookies - these keep the site running. Login sessions, security tokens, basic functionality. Turn these off and things break. We can't really make these optional.
Performance cookies - these tell us which pages load slowly, where people drop off, and what's broken. We use this to fix things. No personal data, just aggregate patterns.
Functionality cookies - these remember your preferences. Region, language, display settings. Without them, you'd have to reconfigure things every time you land on the site.
Advertising cookies - placed by third parties to show you ads that are actually relevant to you. If you'd rather see random ads, you can turn these off - we won't be offended.
We use services like Google Ads, Facebook Pixel, and Twitter Analytics. These companies place their own cookies and have their own policies - worth reading if you're curious about what they track.
Your browser settings give you full control. You can block all cookies, delete existing ones, or be selective. Just know that turning off essential cookies will break parts of the site - including staying logged in.
Most browsers have a straightforward cookie management page in settings. If you're not sure where to find it, search "manage cookies" plus your browser name and you'll find it in about 30 seconds.
By staying on SkillMX, you're okay with us using cookies as described here. If you're not okay with it, adjust your browser settings or leave the site. No hard feelings.
