We are seeking a skilled DevOps Lead Engineer to enhance our application transformation efforts. This role is instrumental in fostering a DevOps culture within an agile environment, driving efficiency and accelerating time-to-market.

As a key member of our team, you will collaborate closely with development teams to implement modern DevOps practices. Your expertise will be crucial in migrating applications from classical methods to agile workflows, ensuring seamless integration and continuous improvement.

You will support application teams in adopting DevOps principles and container platforms, leading projects to achieve faster delivery cycles with high deployment frequency and reduced failure rates. This includes augmenting application teams with essential container platform skills for effective troubleshooting and operational support.

We are looking for candidates with a minimum of 6 years of relevant domain experience, demonstrating capabilities as both a lead and an individual contributor. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering (BE/B-Tech) is required.

Essential skills include a strong grasp of DevOps concepts, proficiency in scripting languages like Python and Bash, and hands-on experience with the DevOps toolchain. This encompasses Git, Jenkins, Ansible, Puppet, and building robust CI/CD pipelines. A solid understanding of versioning, branching strategies, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and cluster management tools like Rancher is also mandatory. Experience in configuring and monitoring DevOps maturity KPIs, along with basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), Linux administration, and network/legacy infrastructure support, is expected. Certifications in DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes, Openshift, or Openstack are highly valued. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for effective collaboration.
