Architect and lead the end-to-end migration of SAP BW/BW4HANA data models to Azure Databricks, defining target-state data architecture and establishing reusable engineering patterns.

Build and optimize enterprise-scale data pipelines using Azure Databricks, PySpark, and Delta Lake. Implement robust CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and manage infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code. Ensure platform reliability through comprehensive monitoring, alerting, and DevSecOps practices.

Provide technical leadership, own architecture decisions, and guide engineering teams throughout the migration lifecycle. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the platform enables reliable and future-ready analytics.

Required technical expertise includes Azure Databricks, Delta Lake, Azure Data Factory, PySpark, SQL, and Python. Deep understanding of SAP BW/BW4HANA concepts and data extraction approaches is essential.

Proficiency in DevOps tools and practices such as Azure DevOps/GitHub, CI/CD pipeline design, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Bicep) is critical. Experience with monitoring tools like Azure Monitor and security best practices including RBAC and Key Vault integration is expected.

Candidates should possess 10+ years of data engineering experience, with at least 5 years in Microsoft Azure data services and 4 years with Azure Databricks. Proven experience in leading complex migration programs and strong leadership skills are required.
