NTT DATA is seeking a skilled Wintel System Administrator to enhance our team in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. This role involves providing comprehensive systems administration support, ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of hardware and software systems.

Provide ongoing systems administration, including installation, customization, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hardware and software. Offer technical support and advice on the use of programming tools, database systems, and networks.

Address system availability and reliability issues across multiple locations. Evaluate and integrate new operating system versions, drivers, and hardware. Manage daily incident tickets, ensure system compliance, and conduct system run enhancement testing.

Monitor and tune systems for optimal performance, implement appropriate security measures, and define system backup and disaster recovery procedures. Direct recovery operations in case of system failures and ensure 24/7 after-hours support.

We are looking for individuals with 5-7 years of relevant experience in Wintel system administration. A strong understanding of systems software, hardware, networks, and operating systems is essential.

Exceptional knowledge of processes and tools used for system management, problem reporting, change management, and support tools is required. Excellent technical troubleshooting, interpersonal, and client service skills are vital for success in this role.

An undergraduate degree or an equivalent combination of education and work experience is necessary. This role involves proactive assessment of exposure areas to reduce vulnerabilities and may involve transferring knowledge to less experienced team members.
