NTT DATA seeks a dedicated Wintel System Administrator to enhance our team in Noida, Uttar Pradesh. This role is pivotal in providing continuous system administration support, encompassing installation, customization, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hardware and software systems. You will offer expert technical guidance on programming tools, database systems, and networks.

Your responsibilities will include ensuring system availability and reliability across various locations, evaluating and integrating new operating system versions, drivers, and hardware. This position involves operational duties such as addressing daily incident tickets, maintaining system compliance, conducting run enhancement testing, and implementing policy updates. You'll also coordinate client contacts and offer operational recommendations.

The role requires active monitoring and tuning of systems for optimal performance in diverse environments, alongside implementing robust system security measures. You will be responsible for defining system backup and disaster recovery procedures, directing recovery operations, and ensuring 24x7 after-hours support availability.

Provide comprehensive systems administration, including installation, customization, and maintenance of hardware and software. Offer technical support and advise on the effective use of programming tools, databases, and networks. Ensure system availability and reliability for Windows systems across multiple locations. Evaluate and integrate new operating system versions, drivers, and hardware for system upgrades. Handle operational tasks such as remediating incident tickets, ensuring system compliance, and conducting system run enhancement testing. Participate in policy and procedure enhancements, client coordination, and provide operational recommendations. Monitor and tune systems to achieve peak performance in various environments. Implement and maintain appropriate system security levels. Establish system backup and disaster recovery procedures, and direct recovery operations as needed. Provide on-call support, ensuring 24x7 availability after regular hours.

A minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience in Wintel system administration. Possess an undergraduate degree or an equivalent combination of education and practical work experience. Demonstrate excellent knowledge of systems software, hardware, networks, and operating systems. Exhibit exceptional understanding of processes and tools used for system management, problem reporting, change management, and support. Possess excellent technical troubleshooting skills. Showcase excellent interpersonal and client service skills. Ability to work effectively in both standalone and multi-tiered environments, and provide leadership to less experienced team members.
