This role focuses on maintaining the compliance and security of our extensive on-premises Microsoft Windows Server infrastructure. You will leverage deep technical expertise to ensure our servers are secure, supported, and consistently configured, mitigating risks and ensuring audit readiness. Take ownership of Windows Server compliance across a global enterprise estate, managing over 10,000 servers. Monitor and assess Microsoft security advisories, vulnerabilities, and vendor notifications to identify and prioritize risks.

Engineer and coordinate large-scale remediation efforts for security vulnerabilities and configuration changes using tools like Microsoft Configuration Manager and PowerShell. Design, implement, and maintain Group Policy Objects and security configurations.

Maintain visibility of compliance status across physical and virtual Windows servers. Support secure account and access management, and perform security analysis for system hardening. Coordinate cross-platform dependencies with Linux teams for integrated compliance solutions. Prepare detailed implementation plans, track remediation actions, and maintain accurate compliance records. Identify opportunities for automation and standardization in compliance processes.

We seek a seasoned professional with advanced, hands-on administration and compliance experience with Microsoft Windows Server (2019, 2022, 2025) in large-scale production environments. Expert knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, and privileged access controls is essential.

Demonstrated experience in assessing security risks, remediating vulnerabilities, and applying security baselines is required. Strong scripting and automation capabilities in PowerShell and WMI are crucial, with Ansible experience being a must. Proficiency with Microsoft Configuration Manager for enterprise-level deployments is expected.

Familiarity with virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, Nutanix AHV), hybrid-cloud management (Azure), and working knowledge of Linux administration and Ansible Automation Platform are beneficial. A strong understanding of ITIL, Agile, and DevOps practices is important. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are necessary to collaborate effectively across global teams.
