Seeking an expert Windchill Migration Architect to lead complex data migration projects. This role requires deep expertise in PTC Windchill and the Windchill Bulk Migrator (WBM) tool, with a proven track record of successfully executing multiple migration projects. Lead and execute Windchill migration projects using the Windchill Bulk Migrator (WBM), ideally with experience in 5-7 projects.

Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze existing PLM systems and define comprehensive migration requirements. Develop detailed migration strategies, roadmaps, and architectures specifically for PTC Windchill. Oversee end-to-end migration lifecycles, including critical data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) phases. Ensure the highest standards of data integrity, security, and compliance are maintained throughout all migration activities. Design and implement custom tools or scripts to facilitate efficient data mapping and validation processes. Proactively identify potential risks and develop effective mitigation strategies for successful project execution. Provide expert technical guidance on PTC Windchill and related technologies, including integrations with CAD and ERP systems. Conduct post-migration system performance evaluations and address any technical challenges that arise. Mentor junior team members, fostering knowledge transfer to ensure long-term system stability and operational excellence. Demonstrate proficiency in WBM tool execution, covering Extraction, Transformation, and Loading. Possess experience in data migration, including the specialized migration of CAD data. Showcase experience in migrating data from at least one non-Windchill system to Windchill. Exhibit a strong understanding of Windchill Architecture, its underlying database structures, and object models, including relationships and content. Demonstrate experience in gathering migration requirements, analyzing source data, and performing data mapping with customers. Possess scripting knowledge for Oracle or SQL Server databases, with a capacity for large dataset analysis. Utilize strong problem-solving abilities to overcome migration hurdles. A minimum of 10 years of direct work experience in migration projects is essential, encompassing all facets of process development and execution. Required experience within the Medical Devices or Manufacturing domain is a prerequisite for this role. A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent educational background and/or substantial work experience is expected. Exposure to the Medical Devices Industry, with a demonstrated history of delivering projects within this sector, including knowledge of UDI and the Regulatory Hub, is highly valued. Competent and proficient understanding of enterprise-wide solutions, such as ERP and PLM systems, is necessary. Expertise in Windchill Migration utilizing the Windchill Bulk Migrator (WBM) is critical, with a preference for candidates who have successfully executed 5-7 such projects. Experience with data migration, particularly CAD data migration, is required. Proven ability to handle data migration from non-Windchill systems to Windchill is essential. A solid grasp of Windchill Architecture, database concepts, object models, relationships, and content is mandatory. Experience in gathering migration requirements, analyzing source data, and performing data mapping with clients is a key requirement.
