Birlasoft is seeking a seasoned PLM Windchill Architect to join our Extended Product Lifecycle Management (EPLM) Team. This role involves close collaboration with clients and colleagues, contributing to all project phases from needs analysis to implementation, upgrades, and configuration. The ideal candidate will engage with high-profile life sciences clients, requiring expertise in configuring solutions for complex needs and possessing industry experience in life sciences or medical devices. Strong communication skills, a supportive attitude, and robust technical knowledge are essential.

Key responsibilities include leading all phases of PLM projects such as implementation, upgrades, and migrations. This involves conducting current state assessments, development, and managing various aspects of the PLM project lifecycle. You will also develop and maintain supporting tools for these projects. Active participation in all project stages, from development through testing, is crucial, as is supporting the broader project team. Building client relationships and providing ongoing support throughout the project lifecycle is a core function. Collaboration with teammates to enhance project efficiency and a meticulous approach to documenting methods and lessons learned are also expected.

A Bachelor's degree, ideally in Computer Science or Data Science, or equivalent industry experience is required. Proficiency in database management, including Oracle and SQL Server, is necessary. Experience with PTC Windchill upgrades, with a preference for Windchill 11.x and later versions, is essential. Familiarity with PTC’s Windchill Bulk Migrator (WBM) is also a requirement. While not mandatory, experience with Java or Python programming is preferred.
