Enhance whole-home connectivity for eero products and resolve complex connectivity issues with robust solutions. Optimize networking subsystems within OS kernels to boost WiFi performance and implement protocols for efficient mesh network management. Debug and fine-tune kernel-level system performance for enhanced stability and improve the integration of wireless drivers, firmware, hostap, and applications. Lead improvements in testing procedures and collaborate effectively with OS, mobile, and cloud teams to deliver new features.

Requires a strong foundation in computer science fundamentals, including object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, and problem-solving, with at least 3 years of experience. Possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in the full software development lifecycle, encompassing coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations. Demonstrate proficiency in at least one programming language and proven experience in WiFi software development, specifically with 802.11 protocols. Familiarity with 802.11, 802.3, DHCP, IPv4, IPv6, Linux bridge, and network stack internals is essential. A Master's degree or equivalent experience is preferred, along with proficiency in modern languages like Go, Rust, or C++ and the ability to thrive in a dynamic team environment.
