We design and build a diverse range of systems and tools utilized by YouTube support agents, partners, and users worldwide. This position is a full-stack development role, encompassing web applications, backend services, data pipelines, and AI/ML initiatives including LLM and model fine-tuning.

Design, build, and deploy sophisticated, scalable, and modern full-stack web applications leveraging Google's extensive development tools and standards.

Ensure the reliability of backend services, construct efficient data pipelines for aggregating information from various sources, and develop responsive, user-centric frontends.

Analyze complex problems, devise effective solutions, identify critical dependencies, and systematically resolve issues to drive successful implementation.

Contribute technically through writing and reviewing design documents, comprehensive test suites, and high-quality code in languages such as JavaScript, Python, TypeScript, and SQL.

Serve as a subject matter expert, applying deep knowledge of Google's technology stack, principles, practices, and coding standards.

Partner with cross-functional users and stakeholders to pinpoint operational pain points and conceptualize innovative technical solutions.

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field is required, or equivalent practical experience.

Minimum of 6 years of dedicated experience in full-stack software development and intricate system design.

Demonstrated experience with essential frontend languages like JavaScript or TypeScript.

Proficiency in backend programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++.

Substantial experience working with various database technologies, including SQL and NoSQL.

Preferred qualifications include 2 years of experience in site reliability engineering, information security, or DevOps practices, and 2 years of experience in a tech lead or engineering management capacity. Familiarity with the technical constraints inherent in designing for web technologies is also advantageous.
