This role is crucial for ensuring the seamless transfer of virtual workloads across diverse hybrid cloud environments utilizing VMware HCX. We're seeking candidates with proven experience in data center migrations, vSphere environments, and hybrid cloud infrastructure, coupled with a robust understanding of VMware technologies.

Key responsibilities include planning, executing, and managing VMware HCX migrations between on-premises and cloud environments or data centers. You will assess existing infrastructures to define optimal migration strategies leveraging HCX capabilities like vMotion and Bulk Migration. This involves deploying and configuring HCX components, troubleshooting complex issues across network, compute, and storage layers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams for successful end-to-end migrations. The role also requires creating detailed runbooks, documentation, and validation reports, alongside providing essential post-migration support and performance tuning.

Candidates must possess strong hands-on experience with VMware HCX, vSphere, vCenter, and ESXi. A solid understanding of networking concepts, including VPN, IPsec, VLAN, NSX, and firewalls, is essential. Prior experience in data center migrations, infrastructure transformation, and workload planning is required. While not mandatory, knowledge of storage and replication technologies, along with disaster recovery and BCDR strategies, would be beneficial.
