Join NTT DATA as a VMware & HCX Migration Engineer in Bangalore. This role is crucial for orchestrating smooth virtual workload migrations across diverse hybrid cloud environments using VMware HCX. If you possess expertise in data center transitions, vSphere, and hybrid cloud infrastructure, coupled with a deep understanding of VMware technologies, we encourage you to apply.

NTT DATA is a global leader in technology services, committed to driving client success through innovation and responsible practices. We offer a dynamic environment where professionals can grow and contribute to shaping the future of digital infrastructure.

Key responsibilities include planning and executing VMware HCX migrations, assessing existing infrastructures to define optimal strategies, and deploying HCX components. You will be instrumental in troubleshooting migration-related issues across network, compute, and storage domains, while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. The role also involves creating comprehensive migration documentation and providing essential post-migration support.

This position requires a proactive approach to ensure the success of complex migration projects and continuous optimization of performance.

We are seeking candidates with robust hands-on experience in VMware HCX, vSphere, vCenter, and ESXi. A solid understanding of networking concepts such as VPN, IPsec, VLAN, NSX, and firewalls is essential. Previous experience with data center migrations, infrastructure transformations, and workload planning is required. Familiarity with storage and replication technologies, as well as disaster recovery strategies, is highly advantageous.

Exceptional troubleshooting, communication, and documentation abilities are critical for this role. While not mandatory, VMware certifications (VCP, VCAP, HCX Master Specialist) and experience with automation tools like PowerCLI, Ansible, or Terraform are considered a significant plus.
