This role focuses on creating engaging short-form video content for our social media channels to reach our audience of non-coders and small business owners.

You will be responsible for editing compelling short-form video content for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts. This includes creating attention-grabbing hooks within the first three seconds, integrating captions, on-screen text, sound design, and music. You'll also be tasked with reformatting videos for different platforms and aspect ratios, managing footage, and collaborating with writers and creators from the script stage. Analyzing performance data to refine pacing and hook styles will also be a key part of your role.

We are looking for an editor with at least 4 years of experience in short-form social video editing, backed by a strong portfolio showcasing your work. Proficiency in Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro, along with After Effects, is essential. A reel demonstrating versatility across various formats (talking head, demos, narrative) is required. You must possess a good ear for music and sound design, and an understanding of current editing conventions effective on US and European social feeds. This position is based in Bangalore, with relocation assistance available.
