As Vice President, Software Engineering, you will be accountable for:

- Ensuring end-to-end release quality and platform stability, safeguarding customer experience. - Defining and executing the technology modernization roadmap, reducing technical debt and improving efficiency. - Driving AI adoption across the engineering organization for enhanced development, testing, and operations. - Leading, mentoring, and inspiring senior engineering leaders and managers to foster a culture of quality and innovation. - Partnering with Product, Operations, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) teams to ensure system resilience and observability. - Championing engineering accountability for production health and operational excellence.

We are seeking a hands-on, technically astute leader with:

- Proven experience in leading software engineering teams and managing managers. - Deep expertise in distributed system design, implementation, and operation of high-performance, large-scale systems. - Advanced proficiency in Agile development processes, including Test Driven Development (TDD) and Domain Driven Development (DDD). - Familiarity with Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools such as Jira or Rally. - Strong understanding of cloud-native and hybrid architectures, microservices, and API-first design. - Experience with AI-enabled capabilities and responsible AI practices. - Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills. - Knowledge of the payments/card industry and the ability to understand business cases. - A proactive, adaptive, and results-oriented approach in a dynamic environment.
