Lead the technological vision and execution for Consumer Data Management (CDM) at Mastercard. This strategic platform manages consumer identity, consent, and engagement across our global ecosystem, powering secure and compliant consumer experiences. As we evolve towards an AI- and data-centric architecture, CDM is pivotal in enabling trusted, scalable interactions.

We are seeking a dynamic Vice President of Engineering to spearhead the CDM platform's engineering strategy, delivery, and operational readiness. Your leadership will be instrumental in building and scaling robust, secure, and compliant capabilities that empower Mastercard teams to leverage consumer data responsibly, driving personalized and trusted experiences.

Define and implement the CDM engineering strategy, transforming existing services into a unified, scalable enterprise platform. Establish architectural standards, engineering best practices, and platform guidelines to enhance scalability, reliability, security, and developer efficiency.

Oversee end-to-end engineering execution, including design, development, testing, release management, and production support. Ensure platform resilience, high availability, performance, security, and compliance with regulatory requirements and SLAs. Strengthen engineering practices in areas like distributed systems, event-driven architecture, data governance, automation, CI/CD, and incident management. Embed privacy- and security-by-design principles across all platform components.

Extensive leadership experience managing large-scale, global software engineering organizations and mission-critical platforms, ideally at VP/Director level. Deep technical expertise in distributed systems, APIs, data platforms, event-driven architecture, cloud-native development, identity management, and secure data platforms.

Proven ability to operate platforms requiring stringent privacy, security, compliance, and operational excellence. Experience in customer data platforms, identity resolution, or omnichannel messaging is advantageous. Strong strategic thinking and execution capabilities, with the ability to translate business needs into clear engineering priorities and measurable outcomes.

Exceptional leadership and influencing skills, adept at building alignment across diverse, global teams and stakeholders. Excellent executive presence with clear communication of technical strategy, risks, and progress to senior leadership. Demonstrated success in hiring, developing, and retaining top engineering talent.
