Job description

Join NVIDIA as a top-tier Verification Engineer and contribute to the cutting-edge PCI Express controllers powering the next generation of GPUs and SOCs. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact within a fast-paced, technology-driven company. You'll be part of a global team dedicated to pushing the boundaries of what's possible in computing, from consumer graphics to AI and autonomous vehicles.

NVIDIA is synonymous with parallel and visual computing, uniting a passionate workforce to revolutionize how graphics solve complex challenges. Our GPUs, once primarily for gaming and film, now simulate human intelligence, driving deep learning algorithms and powering the AI revolution. We are recognized as the leading AI computing company.

Responsibilities

You will spearhead the verification of ASIC designs, architectures, golden models, and micro-architectures for PCIE controllers at both IP and sub-system levels. Utilizing advanced methodologies like UVM, you will construct reusable bus functional models, monitors, checkers, and scoreboards within a coverage-driven verification framework. A deep understanding of design specifications and implementation is key to defining verification scope, developing comprehensive test plans, and ensuring design correctness through rigorous testing and infrastructure development.

Collaboration is essential; you will work closely with architects, designers, and pre/post-silicon verification teams to achieve project milestones.

Qualifications

We are seeking candidates with a B.Tech. or M.Tech. degree and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. Your background should include verification at the Unit, Sub-system, or SOC level using Verilog and SystemVerilog. Prior experience with the verification of IP or interconnect protocols such as PCI Express, USB, or SATA is essential. You should be adept at developing and working within functional coverage-based constrained-random verification environments and familiar with DV methodologies like UVM/VMM. Experience with industry-standard simulation and debug tools is also required.

Distinguish yourself with excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills. Knowledge of PCIE protocol (Gen3 and above) and proficiency in Testbench development using SystemVerilog are highly valued. Experience with scripting languages like Perl or Python, along with strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative team spirit, will further enhance your candidacy.
