Job description

Join NVIDIA's elite team as a Senior Verification Engineer, focusing on next-generation PCI Express controllers for world-leading GPUs and SoCs. This role offers a significant impact within a dynamic, technology-driven company, influencing product lines from consumer graphics to AI and self-driving cars. Be part of a global team pushing the boundaries of computing and shaping the future.

NVIDIA's GPUs have evolved from rendering virtual worlds to simulating human intelligence, powering AI, robotics, and autonomous vehicles. We are recognized as a leader in AI computing, transforming how complex problems are solved.

This position is ideal for passionate individuals in parallel and visual computing who are driven to solve challenging problems.

Responsibilities

Take ownership of the verification for ASIC designs, architecture, golden models, and micro-architecture of PCIE controllers at IP/sub-system levels. Employ state-of-the-art methodologies like UVM to ensure design correctness.

Develop reusable bus functional models, monitors, checkers, and scoreboards, adhering to coverage-driven verification principles. Understand design specifications and implementations to define verification scope, create test plans and tests, and build necessary verification infrastructure.

Collaborate closely with architects, designers, and pre/post-silicon verification teams to achieve project goals.

Qualifications

A B.Tech./M.Tech or equivalent experience is required, along with at least 1 year of relevant experience. Expertise in verification at Unit/Sub-system/SOC levels using Verilog and SystemVerilog is essential.

Proficiency in comprehensive verification of IP or interconnect protocols such as PCI Express, USB, or SATA is expected. Experience in developing and utilizing functional coverage-based constrained random verification environments is crucial.

Familiarity with DV methodologies like UVM/VMM and exposure to industry-standard simulation and debug tools are necessary. Strong knowledge of PCIE protocol (Gen3 and above) and a good understanding of PCIE/CXL-based system-level architecture are highly beneficial. Experience with scripting languages like Perl or Python and good debugging/analytical skills are valued.
