Job description

Join NVIDIA, a leader in AI computing, and contribute to the development of next-generation PCI Express controllers for cutting-edge GPUs and SoCs. This role offers a unique opportunity to impact product lines across consumer graphics, autonomous vehicles, and the rapidly expanding field of artificial intelligence. Become part of a global team pushing the boundaries of what's possible and shaping the future of computing.

NVIDIA's GPUs, initially known for revolutionizing gaming and film, now simulate human intelligence. They are the driving force behind deep learning algorithms, powering intelligent computers, robots, and self-driving cars. Discover a career at the forefront of technological innovation.

Responsibilities

Spearhead the verification of ASIC designs, architectures, golden models, and micro-architectures for PCIE controllers at IP and sub-system levels, employing advanced methodologies like UVM. Develop robust bus functional models, monitors, checkers, and scoreboards using a coverage-driven verification approach.

Thoroughly understand design specifications and implementations to define verification scope, create comprehensive test plans, and build necessary verification infrastructure. Ensure the accuracy and correctness of the design through rigorous verification. Collaborate closely with architects, designers, and pre- and post-silicon verification teams to achieve project objectives.

Qualifications

A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (B.Tech./M.Tech.) or equivalent experience is required. We seek candidates with at least 1 year of relevant experience in ASIC verification at the Unit, Sub-system, or SoC level.

Proficiency in Verilog and SystemVerilog is essential, along with expertise in comprehensive verification of IP or interconnect protocols such as PCI Express and USB. Experience in developing and utilizing functional coverage-based constrained random verification environments is expected.

Familiarity with DV methodologies like UVM/VMM and exposure to industry-standard simulation and debug tools are highly beneficial. Stand out by demonstrating excellent knowledge of PCIE protocols (Gen3 and above), a strong understanding of PCIE/CXL system-level architectures, and experience with scripting languages like Perl or Python. Strong debugging, analytical, and interpersonal skills are key to thriving in our collaborative team environment.
