Join our innovative BIM design team at Amazon, where you'll contribute to cutting-edge Data Center facilities. We seek a creative and driven Virtual Design and Construction Designer passionate about BIM and complex projects.

This role involves creating federated BIM models and data to support our central engineering team. You'll influence Data Center designs through multi-disciplinary coordination, clash detection, constructability reviews, code compliance, and design optimization, ensuring coordinated BIM for our global Data Center fleet.

Coordinate consolidated templates and trade models for Data Centers using Revit and Navisworks to maintain standards. Collaborate independently and within teams, engaging with internal groups, external suppliers, consultants, manufacturers, vendors, and contractors.

Key duties include: updating models, studies, and construction documents; assisting with BIM templates and standards; auditing project deliverables; leading design coordination meetings for clash detection; working on concurrent projects globally; supporting information exchange processes; providing coordination support during construction; recording and reporting key metrics; and conducting engineering evaluations at Data Center sites (infrequent travel).

Possess a Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field. Demonstrate experience in design/construction utilizing Autodesk Revit for complex projects and proficiency with Navisworks.

A strong understanding of building systems and construction processes is essential. Experience with Autodesk Forma or ACC (Autodesk Construction Cloud) is required.

Preferred qualifications include experience with Dynamo scripting, knowledge of data center design and MEP systems, expertise in BIM tools for clash detection and resolution, and familiarity with construction documentation standards.
