We are seeking a VBA–SQL professional to join our Tax Technology practice in Bangalore, India. This position is part of an innovative team focused on leveraging technologies like UiPath and Microsoft Power Platform to build cutting-edge solutions that tackle complex business challenges. Your contributions will be pivotal in enhancing business processes and user experiences through development, integration, and deployment.

Develop and maintain automated solutions utilizing VBA for Excel and other Microsoft Office applications. Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective VBA solutions integrated with SQL. Provide technical effort estimations, work breakdown structures, risk assessments, and solution designs. Create and maintain SQL queries and scripts for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis across various databases, including Microsoft Access and SQL Server. Conduct comprehensive testing and debugging of VBA, SQL, and Power Query solutions to ensure high-quality deliverables. Proactively identify issues, propose solutions and options, and lead efforts toward resolution. Document technical specifications, design patterns, and user guides to support application scalability and knowledge transfer. Integrate with diverse data sources such as MS Access, SQL Server, and other relational databases to ensure data integrity and accessibility. Continuously update knowledge on the latest trends and advancements in VBA, SQL, and Power Query technologies.

Demonstrated experience in developing automated solutions using VBA for Excel and other Microsoft Office applications. Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis, with a particular emphasis on MS Access. Solid understanding of relational database concepts and experience with database management systems like MS Access and SQL Server. Aptitude for creating and maintaining user-friendly documentation for VBA applications and SQL queries to facilitate knowledge sharing. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Capacity to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team environment, fostering a positive team culture. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies, including participation in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
