EY's GDS Tax Technology team is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer to join their practice in Bangalore. This role is crucial in developing and integrating technology solutions to enhance client services and engagement efficiency within the Tax practice. You will leverage your deep tax technical knowledge alongside outstanding database, data analytics, and programming skills.

As regulations become more complex, tax departments require advanced data management capabilities. This position involves working with diverse systems to gather, organize, and analyze extensive data volumes, addressing the challenges of handling variety and volume efficiently.

Team members collaborate closely with EY partners, clients, and subject matter experts to create technology solutions that add value, boost efficiency, and equip clients with leading-edge Tax tools. The GDS Tax Technology team supports Federal Business Tax Services, Partnership Compliance, Corporate Compliance, Indirect Tax Services, Human Capital, and Internal Tax Services globally, providing solution architecture, development, testing, and maintenance.

Develop, design, and implement new application modules, workflows, and Catalog requests within an agile framework. Build custom ServiceNow applications by defining data tables, user interfaces, and business logic.

Integrate with third-party applications using scripted REST APIs and SOAP. Manage ServiceNow version upgrades and develop application functionalities using HTML, CSS, and AngularJS. Design and develop user interfaces within ServiceNow, including custom widgets, client-side, and server-side scripting.

Customize ServiceNow applications, facilitate the rollout of new applications and modules, and configure application UIs and workflows. Collaborate with other ServiceNow administrators to develop solutions and handle configuration changes. Identify system deficiencies and recommend solutions, troubleshooting production issues related to custom applications.

Ensure system integration, compatibility, and multi-platform functionality. Oversee the timely implementation of the latest ServiceNow application releases with minimal disruption to IT operations. Maintain and continuously improve processes, standards, policies, working methods, and tools to ensure a reliable and reproducible development/production environment.

Participate in ongoing production and end-user support. Estimate work effort requirements accurately. Assist in evaluating and recommending application software packages, integration, and testing tools. Manage multiple ServiceNow instances, including releases, patches, and SDLC processes.

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in coding, testing, and implementing ServiceNow as a technical resource. Strong working knowledge of enterprise integration architecture and enterprise applications.

Proficiency in developing workflows, Business Rules, ACLs, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, Date Policies, UI Actions, and table extensions within ServiceNow. Experience with ServiceNow versions upgrades is mandatory.

Demonstrated experience developing application functionalities using HTML, CSS, and AngularJS. Expertise in designing and developing UIs within ServiceNow, including widgets, client-side scripting, and server-side scripting. Familiarity with ITSM modules is essential.

Proven ability to integrate with third-party applications using scripted REST APIs and SOAP. Proficiency using SOAP UI or similar tools for testing SOAP/REST Web Service APIs. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are critical for this role.
