EY's Global Delivery Services (GDS) Tax Technology team is seeking an experienced Senior ServiceNow Developer to join our practice in Bangalore. This role is instrumental in developing, implementing, and integrating advanced technology solutions that enhance client services and support our engagement teams. Key responsibilities include developing and designing new application modules, workflows, and catalog requests within an agile team environment. You will build custom ServiceNow applications, define data tables, design user interfaces, and implement business logic. This role involves integrating with third-party applications using scripted REST APIs and SOAP, and managing ServiceNow version upgrades. You will also customize applications, configure UI and workflows, and collaborate with other administrators on updates and configuration changes.

Further duties encompass identifying system deficiencies, recommending solutions, and troubleshooting production problems. Ensuring system integration, compatibility, and multi-platform support is crucial. You will also be responsible for timely implementation of ServiceNow application releases with minimal disruption, maintaining continuous improvement of processes, and ensuring tool configuration consistency across various environments. Participation in ongoing production and end-user support, as well as estimating work effort, is expected.

Candidates should possess a strong understanding of the ServiceNow Development Platform, including ITSM, Contract Management, Resource Management, ITFM, CMDB, Asset Management, and Change Management. Proven experience in custom development, integration with third-party applications using scripted REST API and SOAP, and working on ServiceNow version upgrades is essential. Experience developing application functionalities using HTML, CSS, and AngularJS, along with designing and developing UI within ServiceNow, is required.

Proficiency in ServiceNow Widgets, Client-side Scripting, Server-side Scripting, and ITSM modules is necessary. You must have hands-on experience with day-to-day management of multiple ServiceNow instances, including release processes and code implementation. A minimum of 3-5 years of coding, testing, and implementing ServiceNow as a technical resource is mandatory. Strong working knowledge of enterprise integration architecture and enterprise applications, including developing workflows, Business Rules, ACLs, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, Date Policies, UI Actions, and table extensions, is vital. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are also a key requirement.
