This Senior Tax Technology role focuses on SAP S/4HANA integrated with the Vertex Tax Engine. You will play a pivotal role in transforming indirect tax processes for global clients, driving innovation and efficiency in tax technology solutions.

As a Tax Technology Senior, you will lead critical workstreams in indirect tax technology projects. This includes guiding requirements gathering, designing robust solutions, configuring SAP and Vertex systems, and ensuring seamless integration. You'll manage testing cycles, coordinate with diverse stakeholders, and provide essential post-production support for global indirect tax functions like VAT, GST, and Sales & Use Tax.

Key duties involve leading design workshops, configuring SAP S/4HANA tax solutions with Vertex O Series, and working with various Vertex tools. You will also support the design of tax determination, calculation, and jurisdiction processes. Managing testing, analyzing SAP-to-Vertex interactions, and troubleshooting issues are core aspects of this role. Preparing comprehensive documentation, collaborating across teams, and supporting go-live activities are essential. Identifying opportunities for automation and mentoring junior team members will also be part of your responsibilities.

We are seeking a seasoned Tax Technology Senior with 4-7 years of relevant experience. A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, IT, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field is required. You should possess a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with Vertex O Series and its integration with SAP.

Demonstrated experience with Vertex O Series, Vertex Cloud Functional Applications, and Vertex Accelerator+ is essential. Candidates must have experience in at least one full end-to-end SAP and Vertex implementation lifecycle, from requirements to post-go-live support. A strong understanding of VAT, GST, Sales & Use Tax, and global indirect tax determination processes is critical. Proficiency in preparing functional specifications, configuration documents, test scenarios, and process documentation is expected, along with experience working with globally distributed project teams.
