EY's GDS Tax Technology team is seeking a Senior SAP DRC Consultant in Bangalore, India. This role is pivotal in developing and implementing technology solutions for tax compliance and reporting. As a Tax Senior, you will lead the design and development of cutting-edge tax tools and technology solutions. You will serve as a subject matter expert, guiding program and project teams through the planning, design, and delivery phases of technical initiatives.

Key responsibilities include effectively communicating program strategies and plans to senior IT leaders, negotiating quality solutions, and ensuring the successful integration and migration of SAP functionalities. You'll also manage electronic invoicing, data preparation, submission, and reconciliation for various statutory reporting requirements.

We are looking for a candidate with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in relevant fields such as Software Engineering, Information Technology, MBA, MCA, CA, or CWA. A minimum of 2 to 8 years of experience in SAP S/4HANA project implementation, specifically with SAP FI and DRC, is required. Experience with SAP Document and Reporting Compliance (formerly Advance Compliance Reporting) is essential, including at least one end-to-end implementation.

Proficiency in SAP methodology, integration, and migration is expected, along with sound knowledge of Direct and Indirect Taxation. Experience with SAP E-invoicing, country-specific reporting, and the Manage Document and Reporting Compliance process is crucial. Knowledge of Scrum and working experience in Agile methodologies will be advantageous. Familiarity with Intrastat Reporting, Withholding Tax, and EC Sales list is also beneficial.
