This role focuses on Senior Quality Assurance (QA) Engineering, demanding expertise in both manual and automation testing across various activities. The flexibility to seamlessly switch between manual and automated testing is crucial for success in this position.

Independently drive functional and regression automation testing projects. Design and execute manual test cases for functional, regression, and exploratory testing. Develop and maintain automation frameworks using Playwright with C#, Python, or TypeScript. Perform ad-hoc and exploratory testing to uncover edge cases and usability issues. Automate functional, regression, and smoke tests for web and API layers, providing accurate estimations. Document test results, defects, and reproduction steps meticulously in test management tools. Collaborate with development and product teams to ensure requirement clarity and comprehensive test coverage. Track and report key quality metrics, including defect density, test coverage, and automation ROI. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps. Optimize automation scripts for enhanced scalability and maintainability. Mentor junior QA engineers and champion best practices in testing methodologies.

Requires 5-8 years of dedicated QA experience with a strong foundation in manual and automation testing. Possess a deep understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and extensive experience in Agile/SAFe environments. Demonstrate in-sprint automation strategy and script delivery capabilities. Proficiency in Playwright automation is essential, utilizing C#, Python, or TypeScript. Proven experience in REST/SOAP API testing, including automation with tools like Postman. Hands-on experience with SQL queries, including joins and views, is mandatory. Experience testing both Mobile and Web applications is required. Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps for CI/CD and test management is necessary. Familiarity with testing frameworks such as pytest, NUnit, MSTest, or Playwright Test is expected. Strong command of GIT commands and activities, including branching strategy, script check-ins, conflict resolution, and merging, is a must. Ability to perform database testing, write queries, and retrieve data using connection strings during automation integration. Ensure all development tasks meet quality criteria through strategic test planning, execution, quality assurance, and defect tracking. Gain practical experience with GitHub Copilot for faster script development and debugging. Understanding of security testing principles and relevant tools is beneficial.
