The Senior Full Stack .Net Developer position is within the Solution Delivery pillar, focusing on developing and testing solutions that support the GDS Tax Practice. This role offers a unique opportunity to be part of a pioneering firm and significantly contribute to the expansion of a new service offering.

Take ownership of the technical design and development of solutions, guided by Solution Development pioneers. Accurately estimate technical effort, define work breakdown structures, identify risks, and propose solutions at a solution level.

Ensure adherence to established methodologies, tools, and Key Performance Indicators. Effectively manage stakeholder relationships and maintain clear, consistent communication across teams, peers, and stakeholders.

Contribute to the evolution of application development and engineering methodologies, standards, and best practices. Proactively identify potential issues, analyze their root causes, and collaborate with the team to develop and implement optimal solutions. Clearly articulate both problems and proposed resolutions.

Adopt a proactive stance in identifying challenges and presenting well-defined solutions and options, taking the lead in driving resolutions where appropriate.

The ideal candidate will possess expertise in Full Stack Web Development using .Net and .NET Core, including experience with MVC, Single Page Applications, and Design Patterns. Proficiency in TypeScript, with experience in Angular or Vue.js, is essential, alongside strong knowledge of Web API and data access technologies like Entity Framework or ADO.NET.

Demonstrated ability in SQL Commands, Stored Procedures, and DB performance tuning is required. Familiarity with third-party controls such as Telerik or Kendo UI, and experience with development methodologies like Agile, are also necessary.

Working knowledge of Version Control Systems like GIT or TFVC is crucial. Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, Microservices, and the Azure Cloud platform is considered a significant advantage. Strong technical acumen in designing, developing, and implementing applications throughout their lifecycle is expected, complemented by good communication skills and an awareness of emerging technologies.

This role requires an individual who can work with minimal supervision, providing guidance and direction to team members and staff. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience, is mandatory, with a Master's degree being preferred. Relevant experience of 4-8 years is essential, and prior management experience is a plus. Candidates should also possess thorough knowledge of the Tax or Finance Domain, strong analytical skills, and meticulous attention to detail, with the ability to adapt work styles to collaborate effectively with diverse team members.
