The Senior Developer position sits within the Solution Delivery pillar, focusing on the development and testing of solutions that support the GDS Tax Practice. Key responsibilities include leading the technical design and development of solutions, estimating technical efforts, creating work breakdown structures, and identifying risks. You will monitor adherence to development methodologies, tools, and KPIs, while effectively managing stakeholders.

Maintain clear and consistent communication within the team, with peers, and across different departments. Contribute valuable input to application development and engineering methodologies, standards, and best practices. Proactively anticipate and resolve issues, defining problems, identifying causes, and collaborating with the team to implement the most effective solutions. Present problems and proposed solutions clearly and articulately.

We are seeking a Full Stack .NET Developer with 4-8 years of relevant experience. Essential technical skills include proficiency in .NET, .NET Core, MVC, Single Page Applications, Design Patterns, TypeScript (Angular or Vue), Web API, and Entity Framework/ADO.NET.

Strong SQL command and stored procedure expertise, along with database performance tuning capabilities, are required. Experience with third-party controls like Telerik or Kendo UI is advantageous. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and version control systems such as Git/TFVC is necessary. Exposure to CI/CD, Microservices, and the Azure Cloud platform is a plus.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience. A Master's degree is preferred. The ideal candidate possesses thorough knowledge of the Tax or Finance domain, exhibits strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail, and can adapt their work style to collaborate effectively with diverse internal and client teams. Management experience is considered a bonus.
