Join EY's GDS Tax Technology team as a Senior Full Stack .Net Developer, contributing to innovative solutions for clients and engagement teams. This position is within the Solution Delivery pillar, primarily focused on developing and testing solutions that support the GDS Tax Practice. It's an exciting opportunity to be a pioneer in a growing service offering within a globally recognized firm.

Take the lead in the technical design and development of solutions, following established best practices. Estimate project efforts, define work breakdown structures, identify risks, and propose solutions at a solution level.

Monitor adherence to development methodologies, tools, and Key Performance Indicators. Manage stakeholders effectively and maintain clear, consistent communication with team members, peers, and stakeholders across various departments. Provide valuable input into application development and engineering methodologies, standards, and leading practices. Proactively identify potential problems, define issues, analyze causes, and collaborate with the team to implement the most effective solutions, articulating both problems and proposed solutions clearly. Adopt a proactive stance in identifying issues and presenting viable solutions and options, often leading their resolution.

Possess expertise in Full Stack .Net Development, including .NET, .NET Core, MVC, Single Page Applications, Design Patterns, TypeScript (Angular or Vue), Web API, and Entity Framework/ADO.NET. Demonstrate proficiency in SQL commands, stored procedures, and database performance tuning.

Exposure to third-party controls like Telerik or Kendo UI is beneficial. A working knowledge of development methodologies such as Agile and version control systems like Git/TFVC is essential. Familiarity with CI/CD, microservices, and the Azure Cloud platform is a significant advantage. You should have strong technical skills in designing, developing, and implementing applications throughout their logical lifecycles. Excellent communication skills and an awareness of new and emerging technologies are crucial. This role requires independent work with minimal oversight and the ability to supervise and guide team members.
