As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be instrumental in designing and implementing robust data solutions and data warehouses/lakes using Snowflake. Your expertise will involve analyzing queries, understanding Snowflake's architecture, and developing data integration solutions. This includes ingesting data from various sources using tools like Snowpipe, Azure Data Factory, or other ETL solutions for automation.

You will also be responsible for designing and developing ETL workflows, performing strong database programming with SQL Server/Azure SQL, and crafting complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and UDFs. A solid grasp of data modeling and data warehousing concepts is essential. You will maintain and optimize all data layer components, including databases and SQL queries, while leveraging your experience with Azure data platform offerings. Effective communication with application developers and senior IT leaders regarding program strategies and data solutions is key.

We are seeking a Data Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of combined experience in Snowflake, Azure SQL/SQL Server, database design, and data modeling. Proficiency with Snowpipe, Azure Data Factory, SSIS, or similar ETL tools is required. Familiarity with Python for automation and scripting is highly advantageous, though not mandatory.

Candidates must possess strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to excel as an individual contributor. While exposure to visual analytics tools like Power BI is a plus, it is not a mandatory requirement for this role.
