This role focuses on custom application development within the ServiceNow platform. You will be instrumental in defining data tables, user interfaces, and implementing business logic to create robust solutions. A strong understanding of the ServiceNow Development Platform, including custom development and integrations, is essential.

Develop custom applications in ServiceNow by defining data tables, user interfaces, and adding business logic. Customize ServiceNow applications and facilitate the rollout of new applications and modules. Configure Application UI and workflows. Collaborate with other ServiceNow administrators to develop solutions and handle configuration changes. Identify system deficiencies, recommend solutions, and troubleshoot production problems related to custom ServiceNow applications. Ensure timely implementation of ServiceNow application releases with minimal disruption to IT operations. Manage and lead the integration of new products based on client requirements. Maintain and continuously improve processes, standards, policies, and working methods. Participate in ongoing production and end-user support.

A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field, OR 6-7 years of experience in computer programming languages with at least 3 years of hands-on ServiceNow experience.

Key skills include a strong understanding of the ServiceNow Development Platform, custom development, and integrations with third-party applications using scripted REST APIs. Experience with ServiceNow version upgrades is required.

Proficiency in .NET, C#, JavaScript, and ASP.NET, along with knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, AJAX, and third-party controls, is necessary. You should also possess system integration experience using web services and web-based technologies (XML, HTML, AJAX, CSS, HTTP, REST/SOAP). Familiarity with networking concepts including TCP/IP ports, firewalls, and network protocols is beneficial.

Demonstrate strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to efficiently estimate work effort requirements. Experience with at least two of the following is required: Java/J2EE, C#/C++/C, VB/.NET, Perl, Python, SQL, JavaScript/AJAX.
