This role involves the creation of custom applications within the ServiceNow platform. Key responsibilities include defining data tables, designing user interfaces, and incorporating business logic to meet evolving client needs.

Develop and customize applications on the ServiceNow platform, including defining data structures, user interfaces, and business logic.

Ensure smooth integration with third-party applications and leverage scripted REST APIs for enhanced functionality.

Manage and execute ServiceNow version upgrades, minimizing disruption to IT operations.

Collaborate with fellow ServiceNow administrators to architect solutions and handle configuration changes.

Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to custom ServiceNow applications, addressing system integration and compatibility challenges.

Oversee the implementation of new products and continuous improvement of processes, standards, and tools for a reliable development and production environment.

Participate actively in ongoing production and end-user support, and assist in the evaluation of application software and tools.

A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field is required, or a minimum of 6-7 years of programming experience with at least 3 years of dedicated ServiceNow work experience.

Demonstrate a strong understanding of the ServiceNow Development Platform, including custom development capabilities and integration with third-party applications via scripted REST APIs.

Proficiency in web technologies such as XML, HTML, AJAX, CSS, HTTP, and REST/SOAP is essential, along with fundamental networking knowledge.

Familiarity with at least two programming languages from the following list is required: Java/J2EE, C#/C++/C, VB/.NET, Perl, Python, SQL, or JavaScript/AJAX.

Possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
