Lead functional and regression automation testing initiatives independently. Design and execute comprehensive manual test cases for functional, regression, and exploratory testing. Develop and maintain robust automation frameworks using Playwright with C#, Python, or TypeScript. Automate functional, regression, and smoke tests for web and API layers, providing accurate estimations. Perform ad-hoc and exploratory testing to uncover edge cases and usability issues. Document test results and defects clearly in test management tools. Collaborate closely with developers and product teams to ensure requirement clarity and thorough test coverage. Track and report key quality metrics such as defect density and test coverage. Integrate automated tests seamlessly into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps. Optimize automation scripts for scalability and maintainability. Mentor junior QA engineers, promoting best practices in testing and fostering a culture of quality.

A minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience in Quality Assurance, with extensive exposure to both manual and automation testing is required. Possess a deep understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and experience working within Agile/SAFe environments. Demonstrated experience in developing and delivering in-sprint automation strategies and scripts. Proficiency in Playwright automation using C#, Python, or TypeScript. Proven experience in REST/SOAP API testing, including automation using tools like Postman. Hands-on experience with SQL queries, including joins and views, is essential. Experience testing both mobile and web applications. Familiarity with Azure DevOps for CI/CD and test management. Experience with testing frameworks such as pytest, NUnit, MSTest, or Playwright Test. Strong command of Git commands and activities, including branching strategies, script check-ins, conflict resolution, and merging. Ability to perform database testing and write queries for data retrieval during automation integration. Experience with GitHub Copilot or similar AI tools for accelerated script development and debugging.
