Join our dynamic team as an Assistant Manager in Strategic Sourcing and Category Management. You will play a key role in optimizing our procurement strategies for IOL products and related services, driving efficiency and innovation within our enterprise technology functions.

This role is pivotal in supporting the engine that drives functional excellence and enables long-term growth. You will contribute to critical sourcing initiatives, supplier performance, and the assurance of supply, ensuring our operations run seamlessly.

Key responsibilities include supporting category planning and sourcing for IOL products, components, and services. You will conduct in-depth spend, supplier, market, and pricing analyses to inform strategic decisions. Furthermore, you'll assist in supplier selection, RFx processes, negotiations, and contract management, while diligently monitoring supplier performance, quality, and compliance.

Your role will involve close coordination with R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, and Supply Chain teams. You will also support new product launches, supplier transitions, and business continuity efforts, while tracking category savings, productivity projects, and overall portfolio performance.

We seek candidates with 4–6 years of procurement, sourcing, or category management experience, preferably within the MedTech, Healthcare, Life Sciences, Pharma, or Manufacturing industries. Experience in multi-business unit or global operating models is highly valued.

Proficiency in ERP systems like SAP, Ariba, Oracle, Coupa, or Ivalua, along with analytics tools such as Excel, Power BI, or Tableau, is essential. Familiarity with automation and AI-driven procurement tools is a plus. A Bachelor’s degree is required, and relevant certifications are advantageous.
