Deloitte India is seeking a seasoned Senior Consultant with robust finance expertise to join our OIDS team. This role is pivotal in supporting critical finance and accounting functions, including financial analysis, taxation, billing, compliance, and management reporting. The ideal candidate will excel in collaborating with diverse stakeholders and driving financial excellence.

This position offers a dynamic environment where you will manage comprehensive finance operations. Your responsibilities will span budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and strategic financial planning. Ensuring accuracy and compliance in all financial dealings is paramount.

You will play a key role in maintaining financial integrity through meticulous record-keeping, database management, and timely reconciliations. Additionally, you will oversee the billing process, monitor receivables, and proactively identify financial and compliance risks, proposing effective mitigation strategies. The role involves preparing insightful financial reports and presentations to support informed decision-making.

- Oversee and manage all finance, accounting, and financial reporting activities. - Lead budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial planning processes. - Maintain accurate financial databases, records, reconciliations, and supporting documentation. - Ensure timely and accurate billing and effectively monitor accounts receivable. - Identify potential financial and compliance risks and develop appropriate mitigation plans. - Prepare comprehensive financial reports, presentations, and materials for decision support.

- Possess a CA qualification, or a Graduate degree coupled with an MBA/PGDM. - A minimum of 6 years of relevant professional experience is required. - Demonstrate strong proficiency in financial analysis, accounting principles, taxation, and compliance. - Proven experience in billing, reporting, reconciliation, and managing financial databases. - Expertise in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with relevant financial or ERP systems. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills. - Prior experience with trust accounting, taxation, and related regulatory compliance is a significant advantage.
