Join our Human Capital practice as a Senior Consultant specializing in Workday Core HCM. You will be instrumental in delivering, enhancing, and supporting Workday Human Capital Management solutions for our clients. This role involves collaborating with clients and project teams to understand business needs, design effective solutions, configure Workday, and manage deployments across various HCM workstreams. The ideal candidate brings robust functional expertise in Workday Core HCM, proven experience in leading workstreams, and the ability to guide clients through optimal solution design and business process improvements.

As a Senior Consultant, you will lead the functional design, configuration, and deployment of Workday Core HCM solutions. You will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements, translating them into functional specifications. Key duties include configuring and optimizing Workday business processes, organizational structures, staffing models, and worker lifecycle events, while also recommending leading practices and process enhancements aligned with client objectives.

You will also act as a primary point of contact for functional workstreams and client stakeholders, facilitating requirement sessions and solution design discussions. Providing functional guidance for complex business challenges and managing stakeholder expectations are crucial aspects of this role.

Further responsibilities include configuring and maintaining Workday business processes and approval workflows, supporting security role design, and assisting clients with implementing controls and governance. You will develop and maintain Workday reports, dashboards, and calculated fields, and support workforce reporting and analytical needs.

Leading functional testing activities, preparing test scenarios, supporting defect resolution, and assisting with deployment planning and post-production stabilization are also key. Additionally, you will provide ongoing AMS and production support, troubleshooting functional issues, and supporting Workday release management activities. Collaboration with technical teams, mentorship of junior consultants, and participation in knowledge-sharing initiatives are expected.

We are seeking candidates with a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field. A minimum of 4-7 years of overall professional experience is required, with at least 3-5 years dedicated to hands-on Workday Core HCM implementation and/or support.

Essential qualifications include demonstrated experience leading functional workstreams in Workday implementations or AMS engagements. Strong expertise in Workday Core HCM configuration and administration is vital, covering areas such as Workforce Administration, Staffing Models, Job and Position Management, Organizations and Supervisory Structures, Business Process Configuration, Security Administration, and Worker Lifecycle Events.

Candidates must possess experience in gathering business requirements and translating them into Workday solutions, along with knowledge of Workday Reporting, Calculated Fields, and Dashboards. A solid understanding of Workday security concepts, roles, domains, and security policies is necessary. Familiarity with HCM processes like Hire, Transfer, Promotion, Termination, and Organizational Changes is expected.

Experience supporting testing, data validation, and deployment activities is required. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills are paramount. Strong verbal and written communication abilities, along with the capacity to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work independently, are essential for success in this role. A Workday Core HCM Certification is preferred.
