Join our Enterprise Technology & Performance team as a Senior SAP ABAP Consultant in Hyderabad. This role is pivotal in driving innovation and long-term growth by enhancing enterprise technology solutions. You will be instrumental in designing and implementing complex ABAP objects, optimizing data models with CDS, and provisioning secure OData services.

Your expertise will also be crucial in adapting legacy ABAP code for S/4HANA, collaborating with Fiori developers for seamless integration, and ensuring top-tier performance through meticulous tuning and troubleshooting. Design and implement complex objects using standard and advanced ABAP techniques including Object-Oriented ABAP, Reports, BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, and Enhancements. Create, optimize, and extend Core Data Services (CDS) views, leveraging advanced features like annotations, associations, and table functions for high-performance data extraction. Develop, test, and expose secure Gateway OData services (REST-based) using SEGW or modern RAP/BOPF frameworks. Adapt, remediate, and optimize custom legacy ABAP code for seamless operation on the SAP HANA database, supporting S/4HANA migrations. Collaborate with UI5/Fiori front-end developers to ensure smooth data binding, debugging, and end-to-end integration. Analyze and troubleshoot runtime errors using tools like ST05, SAT, and ATC to ensure optimal performance. Author comprehensive technical specifications, code documentation, and unit test plans.

This role requires 5-8 years of hands-on experience as a SAP ABAP Technical Consultant, with a strong background in SAP ABAP development, enhancements, integrations, CDS, and OData. Demonstrated proficiency in ABAP programming and the ability to work effectively with functional teams to deliver independent solutions. A foundational understanding of FI/SD/MM modules is essential for success. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Science, or Engineering from a premier institution.
