Seeking a seasoned SAP IS-U Billing & Device Management Consultant with 7-8 years of dedicated experience. This full-time role in Kolkata focuses on delivering expert solutions in SAP IS-U, particularly in Billing and Device Management.

Your expertise will be crucial for end-to-end project lifecycle involvement, from initial design and configuration through to implementation, testing, and ongoing production support. You will tackle complex business and technical challenges, ensuring seamless integration and efficient operations within the SAP IS-U framework.

Key responsibilities include designing, configuring, and implementing SAP IS-U Billing and Device Management solutions, supporting the complete Meter-to-Cash (M2C) process. You will manage master data, rate structures, billing schemas, and invoicing processes.

Extensive hands-on work with Device Management is expected, covering technical master data, installations, removals, replacements, meter readings, and register/measuring point management. You will also analyze and resolve billing exceptions, meter reading issues, and discrepancies, while collaborating with business stakeholders to translate utility requirements into SAP IS-U solutions. Preparation of functional specifications for enhancements and support for testing phases (SIT, UAT, regression) and hypercare are also integral to this role.

A strong foundation in SAP IS-U Billing and Device Management is essential, backed by 7-8 years of practical experience. A thorough understanding of the Meter-to-Cash process, including SAP IS-U Billing, Device Management, Meter Reading, Installation, Contract Account, Contract, and Invoicing, is required.

Proficiency in FI-CA integration and a good grasp of IS-U master data are necessary. The ability to understand ABAP developments, user exits, BADIs, and custom enhancements from a functional perspective is a key asset. Experience with interfaces/APIs and third-party systems in utility environments is highly desirable. A B.TECH/BE degree is required, and the position is based in Kolkata.
