We are seeking a skilled IT ERP ABAP developer and Solution Design Specialist to assess functional requirements and provide robust technical solutions within SAP FI, RMCA/FICA business processes. Your collaboration with functional teams and stakeholders will be key in analyzing specifications, developing feasibility studies, detailed designs, and creating ABAP objects. You will also be involved in effort estimation and delivery planning, working closely with senior designers and developers.

Essential for this role are strong technical skills and experience in SAP, with a deep understanding of various SAP ABAP/ABAP on HANA development objects like RICEFWs, APIs, RFC, CDS views, AMDP, Rest APIs, and OData services. Excellent debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities are a must. As part of our IT ERP SAP Centre of Expertise, you will actively resolve incidents and implement change requests, bringing a responsible attitude and team-player mentality to drive activities to completion.

Key responsibilities include translating functional designs into technical specifications, developing RICEFW objects, and supporting configurations and customizing of business processes. You will prepare technical, unit test, and other documentation, alongside conducting unit and system testing with test case preparations. As an ABAP consultant, you will design, develop, and support application solutions focusing on SAP ABAP/ABAP on HANA/Rest APIs.

Furthermore, you will coordinate and interact with the project team during the analysis and implementation of technical enhancements, as well as defect resolution during testing phases. A significant part of your role will involve managing assigned projects to achieve business requirements within agreed timelines and budgets, ensuring successful delivery of solutions.

We require a minimum of 6 years of experience in SAP ABAP development, with mandatory experience in SAP RMCA/FICA modules. Essential skills include RICEFW development, documentation, and testing, along with reporting and enhancement experience (FQEVENT, BADI, other Enhancements). Proficiency in interface development using ALE/IDOCS, File interfaces, Rest APIs, Odata, and Web services is mandatory. Working knowledge of Object-Oriented ABAP programming is crucial.

Helpful experience includes legacy data migration to SAP, working with the EMIGALL tool, Agile methodologies, HANA and FIORI developments, and tools like JIRA and Confluence. Strong debugging skills are essential. A good understanding of RMCA/FICA business processes, such as Payment Lot, Return Lot, Direct debit Payment Runs, Dunning, Collection agency, and Security deposits, is required. Excellent communication and influencing skills are needed to engage with stakeholders effectively. The ability to initiate, plan ahead, anticipate risks, and work comfortably with ambiguity and change is expected. A strong understanding of software design and development principles, including the ability to prepare specifications and estimates, is necessary. A Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business, IT, or a related field is required. Fluency in English is essential, and knowledge of German is a plus.
