We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Senior Consultant to play a pivotal role in SAP ECC to S/4HANA migration and conversion initiatives. This position demands deep expertise in both classical and advanced ABAP, custom code remediation, performance tuning, and a commitment to S/4HANA simplification and clean core principles. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless and compliant transition to S/4HANA, enhancing operational efficiency and fostering sustainable growth for our clients.

Spearhead ECC to S/4HANA system conversion and selective data transition projects. Analyze S/4HANA Simplification Item Lists to identify custom code impacts and execute remediation using SPAM/SPAU/SPDD, ATC, and Code Inspector. Adapt legacy code for S/4HANA data model changes (e.g., MATDOC, ACDOCA). Develop and enhance ABAP objects, including reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms, while ensuring S/4HANA compatibility and performance. Work with CDS Views, AMDP, Open SQL, and HANA-specific coding, supporting Fiori/UI5 backend services and CVI-related developments. Participate in testing phases, resolve defects, and provide post-go-live support. Collaborate with functional, Basis, and architecture teams, maintaining technical documentation and mentoring junior consultants.

We are looking for a seasoned SAP ABAP professional with 6-9 years of experience, including a minimum of 2-3 ECC to S/4HANA migration projects. Essential skills include strong hands-on experience with ABAP Objects, Reports, Enhancements, Interfaces (IDoc, BAPI, RFC, Proxy), debugging, and performance tuning. Proven expertise in custom code adaptation for S/4HANA, SPAU/SPDD adjustments, and ATC checks with S/4HANA are crucial. A solid understanding of S/4HANA data model simplifications, CDS Views, AMDP, and Fiori backend development (OData) is required. Exposure to Finance (ACDOCA, FI CVI) or Logistics simplifications (MATDOC) is highly valued. Candidates should possess strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, the ability to work independently and collaboratively, excellent communication, and a proactive learning attitude. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or an MBA is expected.
