Join our Enterprise Technology & Performance team and drive innovation in enterprise technology. We're searching for an experienced SAP BTP Consultant adept in RESTful ABAP Programming Model (RAP), ABAP Cloud Development, and SAP BTP Application Development. This role is pivotal in designing, developing, and deploying scalable, secure, and cloud-ready SAP applications.

You will be instrumental in supporting SAP's Clean Core Strategy by creating side-by-side and on-stack extensions. Leverage your expertise in RAP, CDS Views, OData services, and SAP Fiori Elements to build robust solutions.

Design and develop enterprise applications using the SAP RESTful ABAP Programming Model (RAP), including Business Objects, CDS Data Models, Behaviour Definitions, Service Definitions, and Bindings. Develop transactional and analytical applications, implementing both managed and unmanaged RAP scenarios. Build cloud-compliant enhancements using ABAP Cloud, Embedded Steampunk, and SAP BTP ABAP Environment, adhering to SAP's Clean Core principles. Develop advanced CDS Views and expose OData V4 Services and REST APIs, optimizing database performance with SAP HANA capabilities.

Design and implement side-by-side extensions on SAP BTP, integrating with various SAP solutions and non-SAP applications. Develop responsive user experiences with SAP Fiori Elements and SAP UI5. Implement robust security concepts using IAM, Role Collections, and XSUAA, following secure development practices. Integrate applications using SAP Integration Suite (CPI) and support synchronous/asynchronous communication patterns.

Gather business and technical requirements, conduct fit-gap analysis, and prepare functional and technical design documents. Support SIT, UAT, and deployment phases, and provide technical guidance to junior developers.

A graduate degree in Science or Engineering is required for this role. Proficiency in SAP RAP Development, ABAP Cloud Development, and CDS & OData Development is essential. Experience with SAP BTP & Extensibility, including designing side-by-side extensions and integrating with various SAP modules and external systems, is crucial.

Familiarity with SAP Fiori Development, including SAP Fiori Elements and SAP UI5, is necessary. Strong understanding of security concepts such as IAM, Role Collections, Authorization Objects, and XSUAA, coupled with secure development practices, is expected. Experience in integration responsibilities, including REST APIs, SOAP Services, and OData Services, is also required.
