You will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining robust SAP ABAP applications within S/4HANA environments. This includes creating technical solutions using modern ABAP techniques and adhering to best practices.

Key duties involve building RICEFW objects, developing and consuming OData services for SAP Fiori, and crafting optimized CDS Views and AMDPs. You will also develop RESTful applications with ABAP RAP, create and enhance interfaces using various protocols, and perform essential code optimization, debugging, and performance tuning.

Collaboration is key; you'll work closely with functional consultants and business stakeholders to translate requirements into effective technical solutions. Responsibilities also include preparing technical specifications, unit test cases, and documentation, as well as supporting deployments and production issues.

We are seeking candidates with 3–5 years of comprehensive SAP ABAP development experience. Essential hands-on expertise includes Object-Oriented ABAP, ABAP on SAP HANA, Core Data Services (CDS Views), ABAP Managed Database Procedures (AMDP), and OData Services.

Proficiency in the RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP), enhancements (BAdIs, User Exits), and various interface technologies (BAPIs, RFCs, IDocs, APIs, Web Services) is required. Experience with SmartForms, Adobe Forms, and SAP Scripts is also necessary.

Strong capabilities in performance optimization and SQL tuning on SAP HANA are crucial. A solid understanding of SAP development standards, transport management, and the software development lifecycle is expected. Excellent debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills are paramount for success in this role. A graduate degree in Science or Engineering is required.
