This role focuses on designing, maintaining, and governing enterprise-wide data models to support critical business operations, analytics, regulatory reporting, and digital transformation initiatives.

Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, data engineers, and governance teams to create scalable, consistent data structures aligned with organizational standards and business objectives. You will be instrumental in shaping the future of our data architecture.

Design and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models for enterprise data platforms. Translate business requirements into robust, scalable, and future-ready data models across Banking and Financial Services domains. Define entities, attributes, relationships, keys, constraints, and business rules. Develop various data models for operational and analytical workloads, including dimensional and normalized structures. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a unified data architecture. Create and maintain essential data documentation like dictionaries, metadata repositories, and business glossaries. Ensure adherence to enterprise data standards, naming conventions, and governance frameworks. Support the design of modern data platforms on cloud environments. Review source-to-target mappings and validate data structures. Identify and recommend remediation for data quality issues. Participate in data migration, modernization, and integration projects. Optimize data models for performance, scalability, security, and maintainability. Support MDM, Reference Data Management, and Data Governance initiatives. Mentor junior data modelers and contribute to best practices.

A minimum of 6 years of dedicated experience in Data Modelling is required, with a preference for 7+ years in Enterprise Data Modeling and Data Architecture. Proven expertise in designing Conceptual, Logical, and Physical Data Models is essential. Demonstrated experience with data modeling tools such as ERwin, ER/Studio, PowerDesigner, or SAP PowerDesigner. Hands-on proficiency with SQL and various database technologies including Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Snowflake, Redshift, or Databricks. A strong understanding of relational, dimensional, and NoSQL data modeling concepts is crucial. Familiarity with data governance frameworks, metadata management, and data lineage concepts is expected. Experience within the BFSI (Banking, Financial Services & Insurance) domain is highly preferred. Candidates should possess a B. Tech, BE, MCA, M. Tech, or an equivalent degree. Professional certifications in Data Management, Data Architecture, or Cloud Platforms are considered an advantage.
