Lead the design, development, and enhancement of scalable mobile automation frameworks using Appium. Define and execute mobile automation strategies across projects and releases, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices. Mentor automation engineers, conduct technical reviews, and foster knowledge sharing. Collaborate effectively with development teams, architects, product owners, and stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle. Manage automation planning, estimation, execution, and release activities.

Integrate automation suites with CI/CD tools like GitHub and Jenkins. Drive code quality initiatives using SonarQube. Perform API validation with Postman and utilize Charles Proxy for mobile debugging. Validate application designs with UI/UX teams using Figma. Support release validation and deployment readiness, conduct root cause analysis for defects, and drive continuous process improvements.

We are seeking a Senior Consultant with 6-10 years of experience in Software Quality Engineering, particularly in mobile automation. Essential skills include expert-level experience with Appium for Android and iOS, a minimum of two years in mobile automation using tools like Appium or Selenium, and at least one year of experience with native UI test tools (Espresso, XCUIITest) and device emulation tools (Perfecto, BrowserStack).

Proficiency in test automation using Java (minimum 3 years), experience with test management tools (Qtest, QualityCenter), and defect management tools (JIRA, Rally) are also required. A minimum of three years using API test/debugging tools like Postman is necessary, alongside at least one year in an informal lead role. Functional testing is mandatory. A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, CIS, or a related field is expected, though equivalent work experience may be considered.
