Oversee system readiness before commissioning, including erection, documentation, manpower, tools, and safety. Develop detailed commissioning plans and schedules for plant systems like boilers, turbines, and generators. Coordinate smoothly with engineering, construction, and OEM teams, managing pre-commissioning and commissioning activities such as flushing, hydro testing, and light-up. Ensure availability of consumables and spares, track contractor performance, and lead technical issue resolution. Maintain compliance with safety, statutory, and quality standards. Prepare system checklists, SOPs, and test reports, and coordinate synchronization and performance guarantee tests. Develop progress reports and assist with budget control. Liaise with operations for smooth handover and training. Drive strategies to optimize commissioning timelines for early project completion.

Requires a minimum of 10 years of experience in commissioning within thermal power plants. A B.E./B.TECH degree from a top engineering college is essential. Post-graduation is considered an added advantage. Strong presentation skills and excellent command of the English language are a must. Early or immediate joiners are preferred. The base location is Bhubaneshwar, with frequent travel to client sites in Angul.
