As a Google Data Architect, you will design and implement robust data models, focusing on Asset Management / Private Markets data, including Fund, Vehicle, Investor, Asset, Position, Transaction, NAV, GL, Cashflow, Fee, and Performance datasets. You will leverage your understanding of ABOR and PBOR concepts, fund accounting principles, and capital activity to translate business requirements into scalable data mart solutions. Collaborating with business SMEs, Data Managers, and delivery teams is key to defining entity relationships, table grains, hierarchies, and reusable mart patterns.

We seek a candidate with hands-on experience in conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling for enterprise data warehouses and cloud data platforms. Essential skills include a strong grasp of dimensional modeling patterns, facts, dimensions, conformed dimensions, bridge tables, hierarchies, and SCD Type 1/2. You should be adept at creating source-to-target mappings, data dictionaries, attribute definitions, and understanding data lineage and metadata standards. Proficiency in SQL, ETL/ELT processes, dbt transformation patterns, data quality, reconciliation, and analytics consumption is required. Familiarity with Airflow-based orchestration and how data models are operationalized via scheduled pipelines is beneficial. Experience with platforms like GCP BigQuery, Snowflake, Databricks, or Azure Synapse is preferred. The ability to support complexity assessment, model reviews, and documentation for downstream teams is also crucial. A B.tech or BE qualification is required for this role.
