Join our team as a Consultant specializing in Quality Engineering, focusing on Mobile Application Testing in Pune. This role is ideal for an experienced professional with 3-6 years in software quality assurance, particularly in mobile automation. You will be instrumental in ensuring the delivery of high-quality mobile applications through robust automation strategies within an Agile framework.

We are seeking candidates with a strong technical aptitude and a passion for driving quality in mobile product development. Your contributions will directly impact the user experience and reliability of our applications.

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for both Android and iOS applications using Appium. Build and enhance reusable, scalable mobile automation frameworks. Conduct comprehensive functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing. Analyze requirements to identify automation opportunities. Execute automation suites, analyze results, and perform API validation using Postman. Log and track defects meticulously using Jira.

Collaborate effectively with development and cross-functional teams to resolve issues. Integrate automation suites with CI/CD tools like GitHub and Jenkins. Perform code quality checks with SonarQube and utilize Charles Proxy for network analysis. Support release activities and deployment validation, while actively participating in Agile ceremonies. Contribute to the continuous improvement of automation practices.

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, CIS, or a related field is required, along with a minimum of three years of experience in Software Quality Assurance or software testing. Essential skills include a minimum of 2 years of experience with Appium for mobile automation, or other tools like Selenium. Proficiency in Native UI test tools such as Espresso and XCUI (minimum 1 year), and device emulation/simulator tools like Perfecto or BrowserStack (minimum 1 year) are necessary.

We also require a minimum of 2 years of experience in Test Automation using Java, Test management tools (Qtest or QualityCenter), Defect management tools (JIRA or Rally), and API Test/Debugging tools (Postman). Functional testing is mandatory. For specific squads, XCUITest or Espresso combined with Appium is mandatory, while Appium is preferred for all other squads, with XCUITest or Espresso as a plus.
