Key responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts for web applications using Selenium with Java. You will also create and execute API automation test cases using Karate and ReadyAPI/SoapUI. Analyzing business requirements to identify automation opportunities and developing reusable automation scripts are crucial. You'll execute various test suites, log and track defects in Jira, and collaborate with development and QA teams to resolve issues. Integration with GitHub Actions and Jenkins for continuous testing, active participation in Agile ceremonies, and root cause analysis of automation failures are also part of this role. Additionally, you will perform browser compatibility testing and contribute to framework improvements.

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required, along with 3-6 years of experience in software quality engineering, with a strong emphasis on automation testing. Essential skills include proficiency in SQA automation (UI + API), extensive experience with automated testing tools like Selenium, Karate, SoapUI/ReadyAPI, and platforms such as GitHub Actions and Jenkins. Experience with debugging tools (e.g., Chrome DevTools) and performance monitoring tools (e.g., Splunk) is also necessary. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are vital, as is a collaborative and accountable mindset. Familiarity with SauceLabs and Perfecto is highly valued.
