This role focuses on the energy domain, requiring the development and maintenance of reusable software and embedded components. You will be instrumental in analyzing requirements, designing solutions, and ensuring high-quality software delivery.

Analyze software requirements and functional specifications to align with business needs. Design, develop, unit test, and maintain reusable and embedded software components within the energy sector. Conduct code, design, and document reviews to ensure quality standards. Create comprehensive technical documentation, including requirements, design, code, and test plans. Ensure delivered solutions adhere to organizational and project quality mandates. Integrate solution artifacts into the software configuration management system, meeting committed delivery timelines. Collaborate with various stakeholders on requirements, design, integration, and continuous delivery processes.

A Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Management, or a related field is preferred, alongside 5-8 years of experience in software design and development.

Possess strong knowledge of object-oriented programming and software design concepts. Expertise in C++, threading, synchronization, and advanced C++11 features is crucial.

Demonstrate good knowledge of data structures, the standard library, and STL containers. Familiarity with crash dump analysis, debug tools, static code analysis, and unit testing is beneficial.

Experience in architecting and applying design patterns is valued. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential for collaborating with stakeholders and learning new technologies quickly. Experience with Linux flavors and container technology is a plus.
