This role focuses on leveraging data and technology to drive business insights and solutions.

Manage and enhance PostgreSQL databases across development, testing, and production environments. Optimize database performance through tuning, query improvements, and effective indexing. Design and implement robust backup and recovery strategies, ensuring business continuity.

Develop complex SQL queries, functions, and stored procedures. Create and maintain database schemas and physical data models. Lead database migration, upgrade, and data movement initiatives. Effectively manage and optimize Time Series Databases, ideally QuestDB.

Support high-volume, high-throughput, and real-time data processing systems. Continuously monitor database health, capacity, performance, availability, and reliability. Proactively identify and resolve database issues, implementing performance and reliability enhancements.

We are seeking a skilled Database Developer/Administrator with substantial hands-on experience in PostgreSQL DBA and Development. Expertise in database performance tuning, SQL development, backup/recovery, schema design, and migration is essential.

Experience with Time Series Databases, particularly QuestDB, is highly desirable. Proven ability to work in high-throughput, real-time environments is a significant advantage. A strong foundation in SQL and PL/pgSQL languages is required, alongside familiarity with various database migration and monitoring tools.
